Cawsburger

The project involved the reworking of a dark and constrained building within Hitchin’s conservation area. The design balances light intimate areas for relaxed dining alongside the demands of a busy pick up service. A bold color palette was deployed alongside the playful interpretation of prosaic architectural elements from mid-century diners such as hardwood booths, tiles and ceiling grids.
