Madoka Ishii BA, MA
I graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo with a BA in Architecture and completed an MA in Architecture and Digital Design Systems at London Metropolitan University. With a passion for integrating traditional and digital techniques, my research has deepened my understanding of digital tools, from design process to fabrication. I am also interested in merging heritage architecture
with contemporary sustainable design.
Before joining MCA, I assisted with residential projects, including new builds and retrofits, in both London and Japan.
Outside of architecture, I enjoy exploring new activities with my children and spending time gardening.
